Refund policy

RETURN POLICY & PRIVACY STATEMENT

Returns and Refunds:

Our return policy is for 14 days. While we set up our return policy to reflect the purchase date (not the delivery date) to the return date (not the return ship date), we try to remain flexible when possible.  Returned items must be:

  • Returns accepted for 14 days
  • Customer provides return shippinp

  • 15% restocking fee 

  • No final sale items will be refunded or exchanged

  • Item must be Unopened or in NEW condition just as you received it
  • Not be marred or adulterated in any way
  • Accompanied by a copy of the receipt
  • It may be returned only after approval from LE South Africa to LEHQ by phone or email.

Deviations from the above conditions may result in a partial or no refund or credit.  We do not accept returns on the following: (Terms & Conditions apply)

  • Education, video, or electronic items
  • Trade show sale items
  • Gift cards. Gift cards never expire but are not available for refund. 

Items to be returned are shipped at the customer’s expense. Customers will not be reimbursed for shipping costs unless pre-approved in writing by LEHQ management. 

If the purchase was made through a Light Elegance South Africa, the return must be arranged with that Light Elegance South Africa, not with LEHQ directly.  

All returned items are subject to inspection at LE South Africa to determine the amount of the refund or credit to be authorized. Please understand that we are a business and try to avoid being impersonal; however, we must be consistent as possible with our policy.  As mentioned above, exceptions may be made but exceptions are not the rule.  

If a refund is issued, it will be made to you in the same format that we received the payment.  This means that if the purchase was made on your VISA card, we will issue the refund back to the VISA card.  If a store credit is issued, the store credit will be treated the same as a gift card and will not expire. 

Sale items (if applicable):

Only regular-priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable):

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@lightelegance.co.za and send your item to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over R2000, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
